Neal helps engineer at State of the Ark
From 2nd Jan for 4 days a great friend of mine Chris West invited me to help him out at a famous recording studio based in Richmond called the State of the Ark Studios. I was there to help record a new band called Jawbone. We recorded 10 tracks using some fantastic gear. Here’s their web site. http://www.stateofthearkstudios.com. Its worth a look .. check out the gear and the bands that have recorded there.
About State of the Ark Studio
State Of The Ark Studios is a home from home. A boutique studio, once the private studio of songwriter/producer Terry Britten, we threw its doors open to the public a few years ago.
With a vintage EMI TG Console, tonnes of vintage outboard, and a mic collection that makes a gear slut weep, its a great place to make a record – check out our recent client list for references!
Away from the control room, the studio has the main live room and four further isolation areas, two of which are large enough to record drums. We have direct load in to the live room at the rear, parking for up to six cars, and even a guitar workshop www.montysguitars.com onsite.
